 LAB (aka Renato Moreira) is a native of Lisbon, Portugal. Renato came into the world of electronic music world in 1998 first producing on Rebirth 1.0. By 2000, he had evolved towards using a number of other packages including FL Studio and Ableton Live. With these new tools, he worked on breakbeats, downtempo and house music before turning to the more psychedelic frequencies of darkpsy in his independent project LAB. His music is unique in that it speaks to lovers of darkpsy, psystomp, full-on and even progressive trance. While fast-paced with full grooves and warm beats, LAB's music also contains futuristic ambiances and powerful, twisting leads. His first live appearance was in 2005, and he has released tracks on several labels. Now, LAB is working on new sounds and new performances to share worldwide in the coming year.
